The Come Up Meets Soulful Commandoe

Last week TheComeUp team made a trip down to the Soulful Commandoe flagship store in downtown La located at 121E 6th street #31. This night was a dope night to say the least before we made a trip to the Soulful store we had made a quick stop at the Upper Playground store and saw some dope art work. We also made a quick stop at Last Laugh that also had a nice display of Mr.Cartoons sneakers and art work.

Finally as we made it to the Soulful store we recognized a few familiar faces and we also felt at home as the Soulful crew showed us mad love. We also had to come show support to our good friend Nicolas Mayfield the head General who actually displayed a true COME UP. We remember Nicolas from back in the day when he worked for Active ride and Skate Shop and when he first started out now he has a very successful line and a very classic shop .

Towards the end of the night after taking pictures with our good man Courtney from Circle Of Success Clothing and some other new faces we were struck with an awe! when we saw this dude in a Pirate hat. Just look at the pictures to see what we saw. After we tried to get over what we saw we took a picture and he charged us to take a picture unfortunately at the time we only had a dollar left to spare. Sorry Pirate next time we will try and give more parking in downtown LA is not cheap!!!

We also met a talented artist name Felicia K. from JAZMIN, she showed us her artwork, snapped a couple flicks, and gave us a shoutout on film. Finally, right before we left the Soulful store we were blessed by a interview with our man Nick which will be on The Come Up Dvd and we were also caught up with a very classic freestyle by The League and CAFE. Video will be up once Mateo gets his laptop back, Thanks A Lot Marcel!!!

Make sure you check out the rest of the Photos from the night HERE
