The Come Up x UCR Block Party

This week Mateo & Jhudson made a trip down to Riverside to take part of UCR annual Block party with performances by Kid Cudi and the Infamous Talib Kweli . To say the least the Team had a good time. While in route on the freeway somebody decided to race Jhudson . Well Jhudson did what he had to do ..... in other words Jhudson put him to shame . The trip was also very important because Riverside is where Jhudson grew up at and it was quite evident because Jhudson ran into a lot of friends that went to school with him or have known Jhudson over the years from living in riverside.

As the night went on more and more people came out to see the performances and mean while The Come Up Crew went to work gathering more video footage and snapping pictures. A special thanks to all those who showed Jhud & Mateo love and took pictures and to those who didn't want to take pictures for some odd reason well thank you to you too.

Like expected the show didn't start on time but , The Come Up crew fell behind shaking hands and talking to friends they weren't able to get close to the stage to film and take pictures. So Mateo decided to do the unexpected and say that we were part of the Press... Got us pretty much all the way to the front and whoever caught on and followed us managed to squeeze through too. The pictures will explain it all on how close we were to the stage. And take note of how Jhudson looks lost in the crowd.

Kid Cudi 's performance was dope and he was a crowd pleaser and dont't forget to get his new album " Man On The Moon The End Of Day". He performed about 14 songs and made sure everyone had a good time by asking the crowd what song he should perform next. In the mist of the performance we tried to get as much footage as possible but of course when a lot of heads are together things don't go as planned. After Cudi's performance Talib Kweli came out and blessed the crowd with a very soulful performance. The Come Up Crew tried to stay as long as possible to vibe with Talib but, we had more pics to take and interviews to knock out.

Overall The Come Up Crew would like to send a special thanks to the whole UCR community and to those who did a feature for us and everyone else who took pictures with us and feel free to hit us up!
