Dee And Ricky X ROC STAR - Spring/Summer 2010 - “Bird Of Paradise” Pin




Not many people can make a living off their favorite childhood pastime, but Demetrius and Ricardo of Dee and Ricky can beg to differ as they have successfully transformed their funky hobby into a lucrative venture, crafting accessories pieces out from LEGO blocks. The quirky duo is no stranger to collaborations, as their repertoire had included Kanye West, Fred Segal, and Marc Jacobs has also used exclusive pieces from the label for his runway show. This time around, the duo goes beyond stateside and collaborates with Japan’s ROC STAR, to create a series of “Bird of Paradise” pins for the latter’s Spring/Summer 2010 Africa-themed collection. These LEGO stacked pins create adorable tropical birds in vibrant colors and are fun accessories to add some pizazz to your basic tees, blazers or messenger bags.
